Baby lotion has been around for years and years and still does the same job - mosturise. I use baby lotion as a body mosturiser and on my face before putting on makeup. The formula is light and delicate, suitable for babies skin. It smells heavenly and comes in a decent sized bottle so you don't have to spare it. Its a must-have for me as its great for dry skin and for putting on sunburn too. Perfect for winter time or taking on holidays, its an all-round mosturiser.
Overall great product, cheaply priced and can be found in any supermarket or chemist.

Simple Kind To Eyes  Make-up Remover

I first started using Simple products when my eyes became red and sore from using products with nasty colourings and perfumes. I love this makeup remover because no matter how much I use or how close to my eye I use it, it still doesn't sting or irratate it. Its oil,perfume and colour free and contains vitamin B5, which softens the skin. Its the best eye makeup remover I've used so far, the only fault I have with it is it squirts out very fast which leads to some of it being wasted.
Overall, its perfect for my sensitive skin and it doesn't cost a bomb either.
I'll give this product 9/10 (:

Vaseline - Rose and Almond Oil

I know pretty much everyone has used Vaseline at some stage, but I think alot of people don't actually realise how useful it can be. I choose Vaseline with Rose and Almond Oil because it has a lovely smell and it tastes good too. It makes my lips super soft and you can also use it as a cheek tint or cream eyeshadow. Vaseline also works as a mosturiser on cracked skin, but I wouldn't use this one because of the red-pink colour. Vaseline is a must-have beauty item in my eyes, and at just over 1 euro, theres not excuse not to own a tin.
Overall, perfect for dry,cracked or sore lips or just as an everyday balm.
I can't fault it so it will have to be 10/10 (:

Harajuku Lovers ' Baby'

I got this perfume as a Christmas present last year and I loved it. Its from Gwen Stefani's range, Harajuku Lovers. The packaging is really cute, a doll with black hair and bows and a pink dress. When you remove the doll, you have the perfume underneath. It smells exactly like a baby, all clean and fresh, sort of like talcum powder but nicer. I always get compliments when wearing it and I love how it looks pretty standing on my dressing table too. Judging on this one, I'll have to try the other ones in the Harajuku brand too.
Overall, love the scent and the bottle is a gorgeous touch.

I'll have to give it a 10/10, can't fault anything about it (:

The Body Shop Shea Lip Butter

I bought this product in London last year but you can purchase it in any Body Shop. Its a really good lip butter, it mosturises and heals cracks, perfect for colder weather. I think it cost about £4,not too sure, but it wasn't expensive anyway.The little pot is small and handy to carry with you wherever you go.
Overall, great product, does exactly what it says and keeps lips healthy and soft, perfect (:

I'll rate it 9/10, its a fantastic product at a reasonable price.

I bought this product about 6 months ago and I was really impressed with it. Firstly it cost less than 3 euro,which is a bargain for cosmetics and also I love the colours.The texture is smooth and light, giving a nice wash of colour without being too bright. The compact I got is called 02- chicify. I like how the colours aren't too shimmery unlike alot of eyeshadows on the market today and the colours are also pretty natural and can be worn everyday.
Overall, great product for the price, if you're looking for something bolder though, look elsewhere.

Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray

I got this product about 6 months ago and I think its pretty good. It claims to provide heat defence protection up to 230 degrees, smooth frizz, seal in shine and protect against damage from dryers and heat styling tools.


I'm happy enough with this spray, it does smooth out frizz and gives a nice shine, but it does feel a bit sticky on the hair, which is a little disappointing for a so called '' professional quality'' product.
Overall its a decent enough product but could be improved.

I'll give this spray 6/10 stars.

Aussie Miracle Colour Insurance Leave-In Conditioner

I've been using this product for a few months now and I find it wonderful. Aussie is an amazing brand, I used their shampoo and conditioners too and I love them. This leave-in conditioner claims to ''protect coloured hair and detangle, leaving it smelling great too. What makes this product stand out for me is the incredible scent of peach extract and avocado oil. I use it after I wash my hair, towel-drying it first,then spraying through the lenghts and combing out. It keeps my hair shiny and stops it drying out when I use the hairdryer and heat appliances on it. Overall, brilliant product, affordable and does exactly what it says on the bottle.

I'll have to give this product 10/10, truely fantastic (:

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder

Today I'm reviewing what I consider a makeup must-have. Powder is a great way of perfecting a look,keeping your foundation in place and elimanating oil.


I'm using this powder in shade 001 - Transparent.

It claims to provide, '' Up to 5 hours natural shine control with natural minerals. Helps minimise the appearance of pores.''
The product certainly lives up to my expectations. The powder wasn't too heavy,controlled shine and it didn't look caked on. My only fault would be it faded after an hour or so but I guess thats expected when you're dancing like a mad woman at a diso! Overall , its a great product, affoardable at 5.93 euro and kind to my sensitive skin.

My blog is going to be centred around the beauty industry and all aspects of it.Some of the many features will be makeup product reviews, makeup/hair tutorials, style guides and quizzes.
